2 Key Learning Opportunities for Patient Advocates

One of the goals of the Professional Patient Advocate Institute is to provide professional development opportunities that raise the bar for those in practice. Part two will take place on July 25^th. Boosting Quality Process Measures: Steps to Success for Your Hospital Become a Leader and Strengthen Your Reimbursement Level and will discuss the how organizations are improving metrics in core measures that ensure safe, quality and cost-effective care.

Healthcare is being redefined to change the trajectory we are currently on as it is unsustainable for our country. As a result, patient advocacy is being realized as an essential process to engage consumers in the process and ensure they have a voice. One thing that experts agree on is that if consumers are not part of the process, no model will work. These two learning opportunities drive this point home and provide information advocates in all settings can use to improve their competencies.
